It's a well known fact that COVID-19 has sidelined young athletes across Canada. For that reason, helping kids get back in the game has never been so important. That’s why Home Hardware has partnered with FlipGive to donate $25,000 in matching grants to teams ready to make a comeback. When you raise $100 on FlipGive, Home Hardware will provide a $100 Return to Sport Matching Grant.

The Game Plan
The Home Hardware Return to Sport Matching Grant is available for new and existing FlipGive teams. Once you are signed up, you'll be asked to opt-in by sharing a story about your team. After submitting your application, it's time for the fundraising to begin! At the end of every month, there will be Grant Rounds where we will reward 50 teams* that raise $100 with a $100 Return to Sport Matching Grant from Home Hardware.
*FlipGive to select the first teams that qualify for a maximum of 50 teams per month (a total of 250 teams at the end of the Matching Grant period). If your team qualified in a previous month but did not make the maximum cap, your team will be entered into the next Grant Round. See Matching Grant Terms & Conditions here.

Rules of the Game: Grant Eligibility
To qualify for the Home Hardware Return to Sport Matching Grant, here are some rules to keep in mind:
- You must belong to a Canadian FlipGive team.
- You must create a new team or log in to an existing team on FlipGive.
- You must opt-in by sharing your story on FlipGive.
- You must earn a minimum of $100 on FlipGive between July 12, 2021 and November 30, 2021.
- Your team can only participate in the Matching Grant program once.

Cammi Granato is a former captain of the United States women's national ice hockey team, Olympic gold medalist and one of the first women to be inducted into the Hockey Hall of Fame in 2010. She currently works as a scout for the NHL’s Seattle Kraken organization.
