In your own words, how would you describe the Personal Accounts feature?
I have been a big fan of the Personal Account feature since it launched, I usually use it during the off-season. When my team closed, I activated my Personal Account and kept shopping like usual with FlipGive. When my new season started, I transferred all the funds to my new team. Now that most seasons and sports activities are on hold, it’s a great way to keep earning for when the seasons start back up.
How do you use FlipGive in the current situation?
Many families, including ours, are working and studying from home. And, that can lead to a lot of chaos. Our family has had to readjust our routines - change the way we were doing things. I buy many of my groceries and cleaning supplies online with FlipGive. I think a lot of parents can relate to this since they don’t want to venture far from home. My husband and I have also set up individual work and study stations so we can operate comfortably. I ordered a proper desk chair to help me keep comfortable through the day. And, for the kids, a few new board games and books to keep them busy while on conference calls.
Can you withdraw your funds from your Personal Account?
No. The money you earn back using your Personal Account is meant to be transferred to your next team in order to be able to withdraw them.
What happens with your funds when you need to create a new team?
That’s when the fun part happens! When it’s time to raise for a new team, you can transfer the funds accrued from your Personal Account to the team of your choice in one click.
